Baiyoke Tower II – The tallest building in Thailand
If you arrive at Suvarnabhumi International Airport and you go to the downtown area of Bangkok by taxi on the highway, you’ll probably see a tall and slender building. That is Baiyoke Tower II.
This building is 304 meters tall and has 85 floors; the 17th floor and up is a hotel that is called Baiyoke Sky Hotel. The rooms are separated into three zones by floor as follows:
22nd to 45th floor : Standard Zone.
46th to 63rd floor : Sky Zone.
64th to 74th floor : Space Zone.
Of course the price of an upper zone room is high, but if you want to have a nice night view from your room, you would be better to reserve a room in the upper zone. I’ve stayed on the 36th floor once, but the night view from my room was disappointing.
I took most of these photos from the view point on the 84th floor. It was really beautiful.
